A download scheduler that waits a random amount of time between downloads. This is good for ISPs that limit bandwidth. It saves a download list, download path and wait interval specifications. Written in AutoIt and partially inspired by FlashGet.
I made this for downloading numerous files when I lived at an apartment where the internet connection would get throttled if I downloaded too much. The program is easy to use; specify the download directory, the interval in minutes and paste your links in(make sure they all begin with “http://”). As it’s downloading it will constantly update the download queue that means you can track it’s overall progress.
I use this script with Rapidshare. It will work with most links but if you want to use it with Rapidshare make sure you are logged into your premium account in Internet Explorer. AutoIt uses IE to download stuff. You don’t need to keep IE open though.
A small warning: this might cause a false alarm with your anitvirus software. AutoIt is a very popular and simple language. Many antivirus programs assume that all AutoIt-generated programs are malicious. You can read more about that here: http://www.autoitscript.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=34658
If you’re worried you can download the source code and compile it yourself. Or run it as a script after installing the AutoIt distribution. http://www.autoitscript.com/autoit3/downloads.shtml
